live surgery workshop of ISHRS
27th world conference and triple crown live surgery workshop of ISHRS took place in Bangkok, Thailand on November 13-17, 2019. As every year, this year’s meeting was very interesting with lot of new and innovative methods presented, especially during live surgery workshop, where experts coming from different parts of the world has shown their new, innovative and favorite techniques- Starting from different methods of FUE and FUT procedures to the final steps of hair follicle implantation with various techniques.
Clinic Talizi has been represented for the meeting by Head of Training Department Dr. Salome Vadachkoria. Serving as surgical assistant’s comity member since 2017 she has presented three different topics for SA program, one of the topics was effective management of surgical time. As surgical time management is very important part for performing successful hair restoration procedures, especially in big volume procedures, she has presented effective management tools used in Clinic Talizi for reducing time out of body and increasing survival rate for extracted donor hair follicles for reaching best results for the patients. Two other topics have been for basics A to B of slivering and graft cutting in FUT procedures and importance of hair restoration in aesthetic correction of post burn scars in hair bearing areas- beard, brows, eyelashes and scalp.
This year, more then 20 students of Talizi Hair Transplant Institute has attended and have been actively involved in scientific program of the conference, coming from different parts of the world, we are always proud to see success and achievements of our clinic trainees. It was exceptional pleasure for us to see Dr. Mohhamed Abas from Sweden, who has brought his patient for the conference and showed excellent correction of very difficult case- burn scar in African hair, presented for live patients viewing session.
As a part for course prep team Dr. Vadachkoria has been awarded by appreciation certificate for scientific and educational contributions for the conference.
