Our clinic has turned 15 years old this year. May be this is not too much for big medical center, but not for hair transplantation. We have passed through really long way, this 15 years were years of though work and continuous seek of new approaches. We remember lot of hardships, mistakes and disappointments… But we have never given up, we always kept moving forward, studded and taught, built and developed ourselves continuously.
Talizi was first clinic in Caucasus region specialized in hair transplantation and one of the first such clinics in Eastern Europe. We remember our first steps, first surgeries... when 1500 grafts transplantation procedure took us whole day and was regarded to be a big volume case for us… we remember our first 4000 grafts transplantation and remember how we have passed through 6000 grafts barrier, how we reached to 10000 grafts and transplanted record number of grafts 9688 per one case. Today 3000-4000 grafts is medium scale session in our clinic and we are regarded to be experts in giga sessions (giant scale surgeries).
We are mostly proud that Talizi has become not only one of the leading clinics in the world, but also we have grown in the school of hair transplantation. Lot of doctors coming from different parts of the world as USA and Sweden, starting from Bolivia to Singapore, has passed through our training course.
Sometimes it seems that you have finally reached the excellence and there is nothing new for moving forward... But now we just smile on our mistakes. We remember 2010, how we have discovered wonderful long hair transplantation technique developed by Marcelo Pitchon and started to be firsts doing surgeries using this technique in Europe.
Today we receive congratulations from our colleagues, trainees, friends and patients. Thanks to each of you for everything, we are happy to hear such worm words from masters of the Giga sessions- Jerry Wong and Tony Ruston, from one of the best teachers in the world -Damkerng Pathomvanich or from the pioneer of long hair transplant - Marcelo Pitchon!
Congratulations on your 15th anniversary. I have long admired you for your open mindedness for new techniques and your ability to pick the ones that are winners. I have not been to your clinic but I have no doubt that you run a first class operation. How is your hair transplant school doing? Are you still training doctors and techs?
You are the best in the East and maybe the West as well. Congratulations and great to see that you are keen to teach and share.
I´ve known you over ten years and I can say that you are one of the most active members of the ISHRS. You always participate in meetings, workshops and give interesting and innovative talks. You’re invested in regularly updating your current technique and knowledge. Without hesitation you’re one of the pioneers and leaders of the hair transplant field in Eastern Europe.
First of all I would like to congratulate for your 15 years anniversary of Talizi clinic in Georgia. Your good work, reputation, contribution in hair forum international and education will bring a success to your practice . You have donated time to teach physician to learn how to perform safe and effective hair restoration surgery. I belief it is fruitful to all your student's physician and assistants under your care. Last but not least, I wish you in good health and wealthy practice.
Your friend always,
Congratulations and long life to you and the whole Talizi Clinic competent staff, on your first fifteen years. Your determination was clear to me since the very first time you introduced yourself to me in order to compliment me for the Preview Long Hair technique and ask me the first questions on concepts and advantages of this methodology. I could not imagine how quickly you developed the capacity of performing it when you sent me the pictures of your first Preview Long Hair case.
I am glad to know that Talizi is celebrating its fifteen years being one of the very few clinics in the world to offer your patients the option of the Preview Long Hair method which can only be performed by super skilled teams.
We could tell how many thousand patients have undergone hair Transplantation Procedure in our clinic, men and women, children and elderly people, coming not only from our neighbor countries – Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine, but also from far Norway, Canada, Australia, Korea and South Africa. How many Million grafts have we transplanted during this 15 years, how many hair transplant surgeons we have trained, how many lectures have we given on international conferences and in how many languages have our name Talizi heard.
But instead of this we have decided to represent our core, those people whose continuous work is reason of our clinic’s success, who make you younger and happier, People, who do not event time machine but reverse time.
Thank You Very Much!

Clay is alive and often resists, it seems to supple, but sometimes becomes willful and prompts shape to you which it prefers to follow. Sometimes it seems that you have modeled marvel, but only one move and everything is changed to shapeless clot. Most important is never to be afraid and receive pleasure. Anyway, all this is not only about the clay...
It is very important to receive happiness from the work you do, of course it is not pleasure to stand 5-6 hours a day in the surgery theater, but when you meet your patient after a half year, you see changes not only in haircut, but also changes in total look of the face and even a person, sometimes it changes whole life and that is the main point for us.
Akaki Tsilosani, Surgeon, Clinic Director
Last years I try to travel together with my children - no matter I go for international conference or workshop, or even only for a vacation. Children have grown up a lot already and if they used to ask me lots of questions earlier, today I look for the answers more often from them.
When we had just started up 15 years ago, pillars in the field of hair transplantation seemed to be far and hardly reachable, names from the textbooks - Limmer, Shiel, Rassman, Bernstein, Stough ... But we have never stopped, we kept moving forward and studied all this years. Today Talizi became one of the leaders, now we teach others and they try to portray on us. Anyway competition and victory is not our main goal, goal and purpose of our work is our patients.

“First man, then Machine”...
Speed and beauty are two things that will not make anyone indifferent. Also freedom, Freedom to be happy and happiness mostly is not given to you, but you can gift it to yourself.
It is regarded that women are archer, I mostly work with men and notice how appearance matters to them, and they always want to be liked and try to look younger. Last year different types of robots have appeared in our field. We also wanted to acquire this innovation, but it turned out that we are much more fast, exact and accurate, so slogan of my favorite Honda is real and still true.

Most of all I enjoy running in the morning. Sun rises later in the winter and if it’s clear sky, huge golden sun slowly rolls up from the mountains, you keep running and it comes closer to you, as if dayspring depends on you a bit...
Before, until I started working in Clinic Talizi, I thought that all men are similar, but they turned out to be very different indeed, not like I had imagined earlier - cold and indifferent, as one could think of them at a glance.
Eliso Mshvenieradze, Surgeon
We travel around the world very often. We never have much time, but I always try to visit concerts of national dances. I can never forget my impressions from Indian dances, as I also dance from childhood and adore Georgian national dances!
Hair Transplantation procedure usually lasts several hours, so patients always have enough time to communicate with team. Some of them are interested in process - what happens and which step is next, how many grafts have be planted and so on… Others tell stories of their lives, countries and cities. I don’t think that any of the doctors have so many stories, may be only psychologists, but likely their stories mostly appear to be sad.
Salome Vadachkoria, Head of Training Department
Carrier of supermodel does not attract me anymore. To be in a center on attention and spotlight always and without weekends, I’m afraid it’s boring and tedious. To pass on the catwalk rarely, collect sighs, delight and compliments – it’s really my style...
It’s very pleasant to understand that you work for one of the best clinics in the world and this is not only my opinion or score of our patients who trust in our experience, this is evaluation of upper-class professionals. And very pleasant bonus - we travel all around the world. First of all work of course, but we always find time to introduce with different countries, wonderful cities, people and culture...

I enjoy baking from my childhood and list of tried recipes increases every day. I have several favorite one as well, process itself is time consuming, and sometimes I need couple of days, something should stay in fridge for a while, and others should be shaking several stages - Here you cannot change the sequence. Most interesting moment comes later - decoration of the cake. No more rules here and this is most interesting, you reach the table where you have shortcakes, cream, fruits, nuts and chocolate and you have to create masterpiece... sometimes it works...
Even if it is hard to say which step of the hair transplantation procedure is most important, I still think that finalizing part is the one of the mains.
Rostom Avdoian, Quality Control Manager
I like working with old watches, sometimes I find unique stunners. watches can be 100 years old and mechanism still works perfect, needs only light cleaning, move of spring-loader and it will work one hundred years more - that is what it means quality!
All this 15 years I have been working with our clinic’s equipment, lots of things have changed during the years. Most interesting, I always like experiments, development and testing of new instruments and methods. Sometimes even tiny detail can result in a huge difference.
Maia Siordia, Surgical Assistant
My friends smile and say: “you always try to plant something, sometimes hair and later flowers” - both cases it needs hard work, tedious wait and finally bloom, this is so wonderful! What makes women more beautiful and happy than Beautiful hair and colorful flowers?
Hair follicle - such a small part of the human body, but so complicated and perfect! Surprisingly modern medicine has reached to engraftment of nearly all donor organs - kidneys, lever and hart, but hair follicle still can be used only from patient’s own donor supply.
Tamuna Bregvadze, Surgical Assistant
This Fluffy is Labrador. He has massy weight, but undignified name. He is cheerful young men who is continuously ready to fool around 24 hours a day. We are friends. Hope that he thinks the same.
Lately I read about influence of the word on live cell. It turns out, that not only humans animals and plants differentiate between kind and angry words, but also every cell which is alive. Every step can pass perfect- anesthesia, graft preparation, surgeons work and work of surgical assistants, work of whole team – but several kind words will never hurt, does not it?
Nino Khutsurauli, Surgical Assistant
Most successful photos come in two cases. First by chance, offhand made shots become fantastic, beautiful, amazing, or you can wait for weeks until sun ray will look into a gap in a fence and finally you reach that only blink... Same is in life, to reach success you need lot of efforts and just a drop of luck is enough.
My work gives me pride, and this is most important for me.
